We spent yesterday enjoying a beautiful fall day at an awesome park in town, playing, relaxing, and cooking out. Today, we decided to do a little exploring. We started with a fabulous lunch at the Saltbush Kitchen, a delightful cafe, serving delicious local food. After lunch we drove over to the Creswick Woolen Mill, where we got to see some of the machinery and learn a bit about the process of yarn making, look at the beautiful items for sale in the store, and feed the alpacas, sheep, goats, and camel. When we got back to the apartment, Ruth decided she wanted to walk over to a nearby salon for a haircut. Later, Shirtless Batman showed up. So, it was definitely a g'day!

"I'm Shirtless Batman."
(That's a direct quote, by the way.
Oh, and that is underwear on his head.) |
