We're Out Of Here

We're off to visit my grandparents in Haskell for the weekend, where the Weather Channel is currently predicting SNOW for Sunday and "WINTRY MIX" for Saturday. It's April. It's Easter. It's Texas, for crying out loud. Snow is supposed to be a distant memory by now. To say nothing of the cute little Easter dresses we all have to wear on Sunday, which are not the least bit suited for this kind of weather! But despite how it sounds, we are very happy to be going. We are really looking forward to spending time with our family, winter weather or not. I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday, and I'll check in with you on Sunday or Monday.
