State Bound

Ruth had the opportunity to compete in three events in the district PSIA academic meet yesterday: Ready Writing, Music Memory, and Spelling. We are so proud of her for all the hard work she put into preparing for the contests, and we are also proud of her performance in each competition! Ready Writing and Music Memory were new events for her this year, and she got fifth and sixth place, respectively. She won second place in the Spelling contest, which means she gets to advance to State--a position she found herself in last year, as well! Again, we are very proud of our girl and are looking forward to the State competition in May!
